News and Rumors
08-13-99
Hello readers, as you can see there's no headlines today, but the pictures says it all doesn't it? Well on to the news and rumors. The big news for today is the suprise return of "The Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith. Well its great to see this fine athlete back in the WWF. As you may all know, The Bulldog suffered an almost career ending injury more than half a year ago on Nitro. In case for those who dont know what happened, he was bodyslammed on "The Warrior's" trap door (remember how Warrior used enter and leave the ring magically through the smoke? well there was a trap door right in the center of the ring, they covered it by placing a big nitro logo in the ring. But as you can all see now the logo is gone and so is the Warrior.). Well after that The Bulldog was practically a vegetable for the first few weeks and doctors even said that he may never walk again, and after hearing all this, WCW decided to let him go, because there practically paying him for just lying there. But the Bulldog made a vow that he'll get better and make his return. This was all in the name of Owen Hart RIP. He's scheduled to have an interview taped on Thursday with Jim Ross and you can view it on WWF.com or on RAW. I can't wait to see what he has to say.
Still on the subject of WWF, For any one who lives in the states RAW is WAR will be pre-empted on the USA network because of the annual, US Open. Well, this is WCW's chance to really get back in the ratings war, and if they put on a few GREAT shows, they might have a slight chance of getting back into things. Anyway, here is the schedule for when RAW is WAR will be pre-empted: Also, another match has been added to the SummerSlam Card. It will be a tag team turmoil match. It will feature 6 teams: Edge & Christian, Viscera & Mideon, Droz & Prince Albert, The Hardy Boyz, the Acolytes, Val Venis & The Godfather, and finally, everybody's favorite, the Hardcore Hollys (you have to watch next weeks RAW to get it, or atleast read the Spoilers). Now, this match will be an elimination type match, and the team that wins will become the number one contendors for the tag team titles and will probaly battle the next night on RAW, against the team of X-Pac/Kane or UT/Big Show depending on what goes down that night. Now for anyone who cares, rumors are that the WWF has officially release Kurrgan. Now the WWF has almost released the whole oddities. All that remains is Silva. Word is that the WWF is very impressed by his progress and they still have hope for him. On an interesting note, tonight at 9:00 PM EST, Rena Mero (Sable), Goldberg, and Diamond Dallas Page will all be appearing on Larry King Live. It should be interesting to see what they have to say. The show airs at 9:00 PM EST. tonight on CNN. Now for alittle WCW news. According to Dave Meltzer, Ric Flair may be on his way out of WCW so to speak. It seems that Flair and WCW are negotiating a deal that allows the Nature Boy out of his contract early. And it's no secret that things haven't been kosher between Flair and WCW stemming back from the lawsuits between the two sides in April 1998. After of five months of sitting on the sidelines, Flair returned to WCW in September 1998 in one of the most memorable moments in wrestling history. However, it was all down hill from there for the former 14-time World Heavyweight Champion. In recent months, WCW bookers have buried Ric Flair and made him look like a complete fool on television. At age 50, Flair is, or I should now say was, a solid ratings draw for a company that can use any kind of decent rating these days. However, Flair lost all credibility due to WCW's booking and fans are no longer interested in Flair as a wrestling commodity. And this past Monday's Nitro event from the Idaho Center in Boise, ID may have been the nail in the coffin for Ric Flair's pro-wrestling career on a major league level. As most of you know, reports were running rampant in days preceding Nitro that Flair would be booked to put over Shane Douglas, his bitter enemy, in some fashion on the show. Flair and Douglas have hated each for many years and Flair publicly stated that he would not work with Douglas in WCW. Flair planned to attend Nitro and ask WCW management to be taken off television for the rest of the summer. Flair wanted to work house shows, but did not want to appear on television. None of that happened, however, as Flair could not obtain medical clearance to wrestle and did not even attend Nitro on Monday night. Flair cited arthritis in his back, probably arising from the plane crash and subsequent back surgery in 1975, as the reason he could receive medical release from doctors to wrestle. WCW was reportedly so angry that Ric Flair no showed Nitro that they took the WCW United States Title off of David Flair. As you probably could tell by the Thunder tapings for the August 12 show, David was supposed to obtain the services of Meng as a bodyguard on Nitro. WCW nixed those plans and took the belt off of David Flair in favor of Chris Benoit. Ric Flair was extremely upset at this change of plans and is now pushing harder than ever for a release from his WCW contract. According to Meltzer, Flair told his agent, Barry Bloom, to negotiate some sort of release from his WCW contract while he was over in Japan with his son Reid for an amateur wrestling tournament. Apparently, the two sides are now close to an agreement that would give Ric an "early retirement." Basically, Ric would no longer be associated with WCW, but could not work for the WWF until his contract expires in February 2001. It's unclear whether Flair could work Independent shows. While none of this information is set in stone, don't be surprised if this news pops up within the next few days. If Ric Flair indeed receives his release from World Championship Wrestling, it more than likely means his career as a professional wrestler on the major league level is over. If Flair is released, he could not work for the World Wrestling Federation until February 2001. While it's not out of the question that the WWF would hire Flair in 2001, it would probably in a non-wrestling capacity since Flair would be 52 years old at that point. As mentioned above, Flair is reportedly suffering from arthritis in his back, which could conceivably mean the end of Ric Flair's in-ring career anyway. At this stage in the game, I think it's best if Ric Flair and WCW sever their relationship as the situation is slowly degenerating week after week. It's unfortunate to see a legend the caliber of "Nature Boy" Ric Flair being treated the way he has been treated by WCW over the last six months, but I guess it epitomizes the situation right now in World Championship Wrestling. Credit the 4 paragraphs concerning Ric Flair to Wrestlingheadlines.com WCW Live! reports that Scott Hall should be returning to WCW in two or three weeks. Here's some news on the WCW Album that will probably be called WCW Mayhem. Expect Kid Rock, ICP, and Master P to all have songs on the album, and the album will drop on October 19, 1999. It's looking to be really good. But don't expect any actual wrestler themes. Rumor has it that Dan "The Beast" Severn is in serious talks with WCW. Now even if Severn is brought into WCW, it will be interesting how they use him since he really doesn't have the charisma to be a huge star in the pro wrestling world. My opinion is that Severn should stay in the UFC. Its where he belongs. Well thats about the news and rumors today.
News and Rumors 08-12-99 False rumor exposed, Dustin Runnels a.k.a. Goldust's WCW debut, Hugh Morris upset with WCW, Stone Cold to appear on Teen Choice awards tonight and much more........ Theres nothing much to say today besides that were probally not going to have a wcw much of a WCW mutimedia section, becuase I really dont feel like waiting till Wednesday (remember, I dont get Nitro till Wednesday, I live in Canada) to record Dennis Rodman and Macho Man having a contest on who can say bitch the most times in one segment. And same goes for video. But I might be doing WCW in later times. As it pertains to WWF Ill be getting the feeds from WWF.com, and as for the sound clips I'll do it myself. As for the video cards, and etc., I can't upload more than 1 mb (thats less space than a little diskette) of video on to this site. So whatever video I do upload, it'll look pretty shitty so I might as well link. Boy, long paragraph, but fear not I haven't forgot about the news and rumors, so here we go. First off, there's been a rumor going around the net that Kane has been in a bad car accident and it might end his career. Now let me rest assure that this is completely false. For any of you thats interested this rumor got started by some person who impersonated another poster, who actually has a repuation, and started to post that trash. Here's the card so far for SummerSlam '99: (Oh yea, just for any of those who don't care to read Spoilers, the card may contain some brief ones) - World Title - HHH vs. Austin vs. Mankind (Ventura as guest referee) - The Rock vs. Mr. Ass - Shane McMahon vs. Test (Loser must leave Stephanie alone) - Tag Titles - Kane & X-Pac vs. Undertaker & Big Show - Hardcore Title - Big Bossman vs. Al Snow - Lion's Den Weapons Match - Ken Shamrock vs. Steve Blackman - Women's title - Ivory vs. Tori - Euro/IC Title - D'Lo Brown vs. Jeff Jarrett (Rumored) On the subject of SummerSlam, there was a supposed to be a stipulation. Now the rumor is that the stip. would be that the loser cannot use his catch phrases. Bad Ass being, "You can kiss my Royal Ass," and Rock's, well we all know the Rock's Catch Phrases Want to chat with D'Lo ? Well, if you have American Online, you can. D'Lo will be chatting with fans on Thursday, August 19th, on AOL Live. The chat will begin at 8:00pm EST. To enter the chat, go to keyword: LIVE. Just a reminder to all, Austin and Debra (not too sure about Debra) will be appearing at tonight Teen Choice Awards. Now onto some WCW news. Rumor has it that Hugh Morrus apparently was very upset after Monday night's Nitro, when Insane Clown Posse member, Violent J used the Moonsault AKA No Laughing matter (thats Morris' finisher). Apparently there is some sort of code backstage in WCW that you just don't use another wrestler's finishing move (LOL, what childish bullshit), and that's what Violent J did, and Hugh Morrus was apparently very upset. Another Reminder, WCW.com website reports that DDP and Goldberg will be guests on tonight's edition of Larry King Live on CNN. And last but not least in today's news and rumors Dustin Runnels AKA Goldust will most likely re-debut in WCW very soon, and possibly as soon as this Saturday (Yes, it's on Saturday) at Road Wild. Dustin apparently was on his way to Sturgis along with the other WCW wrestlers, so it is expected he will be at the pay per view, unless WCW decides not to use him. Dustin will most likely go by his old WCW name, Dustin Rhodes, and may be put in to the West Texas Rednecks angle. Well, thats about it for today's news and rumors, have a good day.
News and Rumors 08-11-99 Raw/Summerslam Changes *SPOILER*, Bossman to appear on Star Trek?!, Hogan to actually retire, New stuff on WCW Mayham, Stevie Richard's WWF debut and much more in todays news and rumors. Well, just for anyone that cares not to read the spoiler, I'll warn you before it comes. Other than that there's nothing more to say, and on to the news and rumors. <---------------------------SPOILER---------------------------> The main event for WWF's Summerslam PPV has recently been changed. The original match up between HHH and Steve Austin seemed to take a swerve on Monday night when Chyna won the #1 contenders spot to face Austin at the PPV. With the Austin vs. HHH match being heavily plugged the past few weeks many wonder how the WWF would find a way to fit HHH into the equation. Last night the WWF taped next week's edition of Raw is War, which seemed to focus heavily on the world title situation. Making his return to Raw, Mankind defeated Chyna to gain the #1 contender's spot. Mankind then later had to defend his #1 contender's spot against HHH. The HHH vs. Mankind match ended in a draw and a triple threat world title match for Summerslam was announced. The main event is now Steve Austin vs. HHH vs. Mankind. According to Dave Meltzer, the reasoning for the triple threat match is basically based on two things: #1 - Austin's knee injury is worse than expected. Austin still hasn't wrestled since the injury and may be kept off house shows until after the PPV. WWF officials were relying heavily on the Austin vs. HHH match and felt that they could put on a match that would carry the PPV in itself. Since Austin is injured, adding Mankind to the equation makes the match technically and physically easier for Austin. #2 - By having Mankind in the main event, it makes it easier to put HHH over and win the title without having Austin job to HHH. Once Austin recovers, they may go back to the HHH and Austin feud, setting the program back up for an upcoming PPV. <------------------------END OF SPOILER-----------------------> While on the subject of yesturdays Raw taping, Stevie Richards finally made his WWF debut in a dark match against Mideon. Now since it was a dark match, its very unlikely that it'll be aired next week. Richards won that match up for any of you wondering. An interesting piece of news. Star Trek: Voyager has been negotiating with the WWF in signing Big Bossman as an on and off character (Someone who makes frequent appearences, but not on every show). The producers say they have a solid concept for the Bossman to fit in the series. The WWF has already made plans on building a WWF themed restaurant in New York. It will be called WWF New York. No word has been said on when the restaurant will open. Now enough with the WWF, onto alittle WCW. In an update on Fit Finlay, Fit's knee is apparently still bothering him a great deal despite having surgery recently. Finlay cut his leg open in a Hardcore match at a recent WCW house show. He apparently has lost feeling in his leg, and may need more surgery. We wish Finlay the best. In video game's news today, there has been 100 new screenshots and 15 new videos of WCW's new video game, Mayham. Its being made by EA just for your information. If you want to check those clips and pics out just click HERE. In the "internet" news yesterday, rumors are flying around that "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan is seriously considering retirement. His knee is apparently bothering him very much, and that's most likely one of the main reasons. If this is true, and Hogan is seriously considering retiring, then his last match may be this Saturday at Road Wild against Kevin Nash in the career match. And by the way, why would WCW want to make Nash reitre, when he's basically still in his prime? It should be interesting to see how WCW plays this angle out. Chris Jericho is telling friends he received a $400,000 per year downside guarantee from the WWF. He has said publicly hecould have receive more money to stay in WCW, but felt he would have more of a chance in the WWF to earn well above his downside. He is expected to make his debut on the 8/9 Raw is War from Chicago, Illinois under a "man of the millennium/the millennium man?" character. He doesn't look to be wrestling on the show, and probably won't either at the 8/22 Summerslam PPV, where he was expected to take on Road Dogg. Another little tidbit about the Vince McMahon going of TV thing. The WWF stated unless ratings start to go down because of his absence, Vince McMahon is convincing people he plans to stay off the air for a long time. There is some talk that Shane McMahon should rise above his current mid-card Mean Street Posse role and eventually place his father in the main event mix. Meltzer says Vince McMahon's farewell interview on the 7/26 Raw is War from Cleveland, Ohio peaked to a 9.0 rating in the minute-by-minute ratings. When Shane did his own interview for the 8/2 show, all the things he stated were apparently the things his father has wanted to say for a while, which were basically that he built everything in the WWF. Well thats about it for todays news and rumors, sorry for the delay and I know that the last 2 paragraphs are about the WWF and not the WCW like I stated, but I had to squeeze those 2 paragraphs in somewhere.
News and Rumors 08-10-99 Raw thoughts(I know it ain't news but hey, its my site), real reason why Flair is "out" for the summer, another beauty to enter the WWF, and much more..... Hey everyone, I'm back here again, and yesturdays Raw was excellent, to say the least. And im also pretty glad to see that TSN wasn't dumb enough to cut "The Biggest Raw Ever." Well now on to the news and rumors. First off, I liked to say that yesturday's RAW was one of the few Raw(or Nitros) that actually kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole 2 hours. I know this sounds really "markish" of me, but when I heard/saw the millenium counter ticking down to zero, I literally had my face pushed up agaisnt the TV set. I have to say that, that was one of the best entrances of all time. Oh well, you clicked the link to read the news and not my thoughts, so no onto the real news and rumors. Most of you had heard by now that Ric Flair has been talking to WCW officials about getting him off WCW TV for the summer. Now the part that we didn;t know is why he wanted to get off. Was it because he knew he sucked(not to disrespect him, he was great in his time. Remember TIME is the key word in that sentence)? Well that wasn't the case. The real reason why he wasn't on Nitro yesturday, or won't be on Nitro for the summer is because he hasn't recieved medical clearence to wrestle again. Doctors say he has developed arthritis in his lower back, the kind that may be related to his 1975 plane crash in which he broke his back. I hope he gets better. If you all saw Nitro last night(which i didn't since Nitro doesn't air till Wednesday in Canada) you all know that the Main Evnet at Road Wild (Nash vs. Hogan for the title) will be a career match. Which means that the loser will have to retire. Now obviously, we all know that Nash is going to win, since he is the younger and more popular of the two. Now when Hogan loses don't expect Hogan to disappear from WCW TV. It's rumored that he does lose in this career match, he'll probally go back to his old yellow and red if he does return. Its been rumored that he'll go back to the Hulkmania gimmick for awhile now, and this looks like a good oppertunity for him to do so. On interesting tidbit, the date when Bret Hart returns will be the day after Road Wild. And If Nash or Hogan does win at Road Wild one of them "will be gone forever." Now it's rumored that Bret will feud with Hogan during the fall and win the world title only to drop it do Kevin Nash during a winter feud. Now one problem, after Saturday night, either Kevin Nash or Hulk Hogan may be gone since career matches aren't true to it's stipulation. But if one of these two giants of the wrestling world departs for good, what will happen to one of Bret's two feuds? But was only rumor to begin with so it. According to Mark Madden, the hummer driver will be revealed at Road Wild and it will most likely be former UFC fighter, Tank Abbot. Now personally if it turns out to be Abbot, he can live up to be the baddest man on the planet but it would be a huge disappointment in my mind since this angle was the biggest angle for WCW in 1999. For all of you that are interested in New Japan Pro Wrestling, Goldberg will be appearing in one of their big dome shows just 3 days after the millennium (for all of you who don't know when it is January 4, 1999) Now enough with WCW news, now onto the WWF. Now as I stated above, there will be a new model entering the WWF for who knows how long. She is non other than Cindy Margolis. All we know is that she'll be appearing on the next Smackdown, doing some commentary with the King. For all of you who don't know who she is (such as myself) you can check out her website at cindymargolis.com. Here is pic just to get you started.
For all of you who care, here are the billboard video sales for the past month:
The first number represents this week's standing for the video, and the second number represents last week's standing. 1--1--WWF: Hell Yeah-Stone Cold's Saga Continues Courtesy: Billboard
Well that about raps it up for todays news and rumors. Sorry for the lack of WWF news but I guess it was just a slow day at Titan Towers.
News and Rumors

Atleast one new wrestler to debut on raw, reformation of the bwo?, Falir being forced to be on Nitro?, more TV Guild covers, and much more in todays news and rumors.
Hey, I'm here once again to bring you the latest edition of the news and rumors. Well there's really nothing to say today, except that we might have to toss the streaming raw idea out the window. On to the news and rumors.
First off, it's been confirmed that at least one new wrestler will debut on tonight's big Raw. The wrestler would either be Chris Jericho or Stevie Richards. There is also a slight chance that both of them might appear tonight, although it's just speculation.
Staying of the subject of Stevie Richards, many of you know that he was in the BWO in ECW and there is speculation that he might be reforming the group in the WWF with fromer BWO member Blue Meanie (note: i live in Canada so i'm not really famililar with ECW).
For all you fans waiting to see the new WCW TV Guide covers you can go see them at wcwgear.com
Most of you know that Marc Mero is Sable's husband. Apparently when Sable left the WWF, Marc left with her and it has been speculated that Marc Mero would go back to WCW but lately rumors have been that Marc Mero has retired from wrestling. This is a shame because Marc Mero is a fine athlete.
Well that's about it for today's news and rumors. Sorry for the lack of info but there's not really that much happening. Until then, be sure to catch RAW tonight. It's shaping up to be one of
best RAW's ever.

TSN screw Canadians again?!, The biggest "Raw is War" this Monday?, Hall and Hart's return date set, and much more in todays news and rumors.....
Well, welcome again to the second ever news and rumors. Just to tell all of you, I just got the new Attitude game and its great, for those of you who liked warzone you'll love Attitude. And I'm all pumped up for Monday's episode of RAW, which is shaping up to be one of the greatest.
I was going over the TV guild today to see if TSN was going to f*ck me and my fellow canadians again for the, I think 6th, week in a row. And there to my suprise(well, Im not that Surprised) its f*n cancelled. Not only is it cancelled its being pushed back from its midnight repeat time to 12:30. And to make things worse, it will be ending at 2:00am, which means Raw will be cut to one and a half hours!! The only other time it will be showing is at 4pm the next day, where they censor the words like "ass" and etc. They also cut the parts where the "puppies" and "hoes" appear =( . Oh well, enough of my bitching lets get on to some real news and rumors.
On the subject of Raw, it certainly shaping up to be a beauty. Lets see, we first have the Smashing Pmpkins and Snoop Doggy Dogg appearing, although I'm not sure if their preforming or not. The we have "The Icon", "The ShowStoppa", "The Mainevent", Shawn Micheals making an appearence and working the mic as only he can. Then we have the referee for the main event at SS, Jesse "The Body" Ventura, coming back to WWF TV. And on top of all that, the millenium countdown finally comes to an end.
Here's the Direct TV preview for Raw, nothing big new that we don't already know:
Raw (first hour): Jesse Ventura Returns
Warzone (second hour): The "Millenium" Arrives
Well for all those who are thinking about purchasing Attitude, DON'T THINK. BUY IT. If you liked Warzone you'll love Attitude. But if you hated Warzone you'll still love Attitude. All I have to say is that it is simply "Breath taking." For all those looking for all the move and cheats for Attitude, Click HERE.
Still on the subject of Video games, IGN 64 has released brand new screen shots of WWF 2000. You can go view them by clicking HERE.
On an interesting note, many of you know that Debra and Steve Austin are a couple. Well it seems like Debra has recently been no-showing House shows that Steve Austin doesn't appear at. Apparently, she has been at their house in Texas keeping him company while he was recovering from an injury that he suffered two weeks ago on a Raw taping. It has been said that Vince McMahon has acted nonchalantly about it, but some feel that this is because McMahon doesn't want to upset Austin. There are people in the WWF that believe that Debra's push will suffer if and when she and Austin are no longer an item.
Now, on to some WCW news. According to Mark Madden, Ric Flair has asked to be kept off WCW television for the rest of the summer. It is not known why Flair requested this, and it is not known if he actually can do this, but we'll just have to see if Flair shows up at Nitro this week.
Staying on the subject of wrestlers and the summer, Scott Hall is Scheduled to return sometime in late August. He's probaly going to be involved with Nash some how. Whether it's reforming the Outsiders or feuding with his long time friend.
On the subject of returns, Bret Hart is scheduled to return on the August 16th Nitro, in Colorado Springs.
Another little tidbit on WCW. According to Dave Meltzer, Kevin Nash is trying to position the World title angle in WCW to where he gets the title from Hart before the end of the year, in exchange for putting Hogan over at Road Wild. Nash was real upset at last week's Nitro because he wanted to team with Rick Steiner against Hogan & Sting. He had Vicious booked to squash Chase Tatum, but as the show went on Bischoff pulled the switch figuring that putting Sid in the match would be better for the ratings. And people wonder why WCW's angel go no where. Just look at there booking.
Now on to the ICP. The Insane Clown Posse originally signed a contract for ten appearances with WCW, but word is that Eric Bischoff is already interested in renewing it. Bischoff is apparently happy with the success and response that their angle has recieved so far and would like to add additional dates to their deals. Thats good to hear, since ICP seems to be really over with the crowd and seems to be getting Vampiro over as well.
Well thats about it for the news and rumors. Boy that was longer than I expected/wanted. Oh well, anything to please the readers. I hope you'd enjoy and until next time, adios.
WWF wrestlers let go, Jesse Ventura refferee at Summerslam, Secrets of Raw Milleniumn Counter, Goldburg contract resolved, and much more.... Hey, welcome to the first ever post of the news and rumors. This site is still under construstion but should be up and running in the upcoming weeks with a huge multimedia library , Bios, and more. But as far as the news and rumors are concerned it'll be updated everyday. So enough with the jabber. On with the first ever News and Rumors. In recent WWF news, it has been reported that there have been a few releases in the WWF. The releases have included such superstars as, Ryan Shamrock and Nicole Bass. And they are also having meetings with Dustin Runnels a.k.a Golddust for mutual departure. So what will happen to his wife, Terri Runnels? The interesting thing is that Terri signed a 3 year extension with the wwf, and it is reported that she will be getting more airtime in the weeks to come. The Sable lawsuit is looking like its about to end in the next week or so, with a settlement. The amount of money is undetermined (although she ain't gonna get nothing near the amount she wanted which was 110 million. The WWF has also given Rene Mero a.k.a Sable the rights to the name Sable, but an interesting sidenote is that she won't be able to sign with any wrestling promotion for the next 3 years. Jim Ross has stated that the set of the WWF's new UPN show, Smackdown,is supposedly looking hot at the moment, it alsmost looks like George designs it. I personally can't wait for this show to air. On the topic of Smackdown, the 2 commentators will probably be the same as Sunday Night Heat (Micheal Cole and Kevin Kelly ) Since Jim Ross has been really busy doing all the backstage/booking stuff, and with Jerry Lawler running for mayor in the state of Memphis, I don't think neither of them have time for commentating besides for raw and ppv's. According to WWFnews, WWF Shotgun will be called WWF Metal and WWF Shotgun Saturday Night will be called WWF JaKKED. Personally speaking, I think they should just cancel Both these shows altogether. The truth is that they aren't reall all that great and giving them a new name wont help the quality of the program. The WWF will be recruiting 300+ pounder, Vic Grimes. Jim Ross says he's happy with ths guys work and he should be a productive member in the WWF ( I personnally don't know who this guy is but once i find a Bio on him Ill make sure to post it) Droz suffered a minor injury on Tuesday's Raw taping but should be ok in 1-2 weeks It has been announced that Jesse Ventura will be the referee in the main event at summerslam. He is reportedly getting paid $100,000 and he will be recieving royalties from the summerslam ppv and tape sales, for that one appearence im guessing. He said he's going to donate 50,000 dollars to some charity. And on last bit of info on Raw. Some of you might have noticed a millenium counter during Raw that appeared once or twice, now if you actually did the calculations to the counter, you probably know it dosn't countdown to the millenium. It counts down to a certain date, where a certain wrestler, gets released from a certain company, and yes, the ceratain someone is none other than Chris Jericho. They must have something big planned for Chris Jericho if they are going to hype him up like this, but I hope they dont screw him up like they did with the Big Show. Now onto some WCW news. Apparently WCW has teamed up with the well known pizza chain, Little Ceasers, and are now planning more crossover promotional ads such as the one they did a month ago with Goldberg and Meng. Now speaking of Goldberg, you all may know of his contract disputes with WCW, well this has all been resolved. No official word on how much he's gonna get paid but it looks to be a 1 million plus figure. Hopefully they'll get him on Nitro as soon as they can and improve the quality, which has dropped severely during the past month. Many of you heard that the hummer angel was dropped. The person that was planned to be behind the wheel was none other than "big badd botty daddy" Scott Stiener. He is currently out with a back injury and wont be back t'ill August at Best. So WCW decided that they cannot keep the hummer angel up any longer without the driver being revealed but with Stiener in the hospital that ain't gonna happen. WCW has been reported to be interested in Scorpio(God knows why). Probally because Hak has been recommending him, and since Hak is the only respectable guy left right now in WCW, i guess they gotta take his suggestions seriously. Well that abouts sums it up for the first ever News and Rumors here at Rock Bottom, I hoped you'd enjoyed. |
